Binglin {bing-ling} is a designer-illustrator, an Ignatz award-winning cartoonist, and a multidisciplinary maker of things. They are an enjoyer and creator of accessible science communication, playful design, and strange storytelling.

Expedition Backyard is their debut graphic novel, an early reader urban science story created in collaboration with Rosemary Mosco and published through Random House Graphic. order it through your local bookstore!

Past clients include minnesota public radio, GKIDS, Harmonix, The Nib, and Oni Press. From 2018 to 2024, they did in-house branding design and science illustration for the National Aquarium.
